Our systems are in orbit at 400 km, 20000 km, 36000 km and beyond to the edges of the solar system.

**Role: E6 Lean Engineering Manager

**Mission**:Reporting to the Vice President Quality, Lean & Customer Satisfaction, the E6 Lean Engineering Manager is accountable for the deployment of the E6 methodology and associated practices in entities (e. g.

BLs, Domains, CCs, Countries, sites. . . )

**Duties**:

- Work with Engineering leaders to build the E6 deployment roadmap by identifying the specific Projects and or Products and set targets in line with Company priorities.

- Prepare identified E6 deployments, involving relevant stakeholders, ensuring maturity and coherence of contents (actions, KPI values and definitions, economics) and highlighting possible challenges.

- Deploy E6 on the identified Project/Product, according to TAS standards.

- Prepare Steering Committees and Weekly Reports as required, data coherence and appropriate communication/escalation being key.

- Implement dedicated and transverse actions, disseminating best practices.

- Organise and lead E6 community meetings to share best practices and maintain momentum.

- Inspire E6 communications, progress and status.

**Skills**:

- University degree and or higher (Master, Doctorate etc. )

in an engineering related discipline.

- High level of competence in System Engineering and or Product Development.

- Detailed knowledge of Thales Alenia Space environment, Engineering processes and of continuous improvement techniques, in particular Lean product and processes development.

- Analytical skills, capable and proactive in understanding deviations and proposing quick-win solutions.

- Synthetic and accurate with excellent communication skills.

- Positive and able to get adequate level of engagement on E6.

- Objective oriented and able to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.

- Significant product and project management experience.

- INCOSE certification and or Black Belt and or Lean certification is a plus.

- Italian native speaker (C1 or C2) with a good level of English (B1 or B2 spoken and written), French is a plus.

- Ideally based in Rome or Turin, with the ability for significant travel.
