Ecommerce Trading Manager

As the eCom Trading Manager you will play a key role in bringing our eCom strategy, digital plans and webshop operations together for success.
As the eCommerce Trading Manager, you will be central for delivering our growth ambition & you will also play a leading role in engineering and implementing the strategy for Dyson. it to succeed.
Accountabilities
Dyson is a fast paced and agile company with a lot of change.
The below is an example of your main accountabilities but is not a complete list.
- Set the agenda for day-to-day trading of Dyson. it, which will range from running trading meetings, reporting on performance, and capturing developments and actions to improve performance on a volume and GM basis.
- Setting the direction, pace, and processes for our webshop Dyson. it at a quarterly and annual basis.
- Being accountable for the monthly P&L delivery of Dyson. it
- Providing sellout analysis, optimizations, and commentary, with support of internal Stakeholder, on a daily/weekly basis
- Own the eCommerce equation for Dyson. it in ensuring the right balance across all KPI's.
- Own the forecasting process for Dyson. it and effectively communicate it on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensuring stock arrives in line with forecast and is allocated correctly on a daily base in cooperation with Supply Chain.
- Own the marketing & activation plans for Dyson. it.
Be the key contact person for our Categories to align on campaigns, sellout activities and execution.
- Work closely with the paid media team to ensure we are aligned with the traffic targets and continuously look for ways to manage our traffic mix to optimize our overall cost of acquisition
- Partnering with the onsite experience team to ensure we implement learnings & optimizations to provide a customer journey and sell out.
- Conversion Focus: work closely with stakeholders to review trends and recommend actions to improve conversion with key focus on the customer experience.
- Being the contact person for our customer service to understand the key tension points for owners on our website developing and delivering plans to address these issues and opportunities (with Owner Experience team)
- Partner with the RACE programme which identifies insights and quick wins to improve day to day trading
**About you**:
The E-Commerce Manager must demonstrate a clear understanding of the direct E-commerce business and must be capable of analyzing numbers in both high detail and top level.
S/he must be a strong communicator in English (also Italian is a+) and be able to articulate problems, solutions, and results to all levels of the business.
S/he must be a team player, working with multiple areas of the business to achieve common goals and be able to manage and priorities requests from stakeholders both in Italy and the UK (Global).
S/he must be capable of managing expectations and making decisions.
S/He must have a strong eye for detail and be comfortable with managing complexity and change throughout the business in order to quickly adapt and optimize.
