The Economics Department is responsible for turning that data into actionable intelligence, ensuring that PnL owners within the organisation have a clear & quantifiable understanding of their decision space.
Our role is to make sure that YNAP is asking itself the right questions, and to develop answers to the underlying economic questions that underpin risk taking, operational & corporate decisions.
The Economics team is an engine at the heart of what YNAP does.
We do not own PnL but we have the ability to frame & challenge all business decisions in the company.
Our Economics Team is now seeking a talented Economics Manager to join the Economics team.

Role purpose:
In a context of strong growth in the demand for luxury goods online, the Group is looking to reinforce its operating model with a focus on economics for direct P&L impact.
Reporting into the Economics Director, the newly created Economics department will contribute directly to key decisions in an open, impact-driven, high-adrenaline problem-solving environment among Luxury, Fashion and Distribution professionals.
Within this team which acts as the guardian of the value that "each action must be measurable", the Economics Manager ensures data-driven decisions across the Group.
This is a transversal role, in direct interaction with the business heads, and working with Operations and Finance to model the business and ensure value creation throughout the Group.
The Manager provides the business intelligence framework and tooling, performs business/ econometric modelling and forecasting, and is accountable for trading decisions as well as for working closely with the financial department with regards to budgeting.
Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
- Lead manager for Customer Lifecycle topics and collaborate working with Growth, TECH, Store and Region team to devise and deploy a global customer experience map to drive the customer growth, retention and customer LTV etc.
- Perform business cases, econometrics modelling/ forecasting and further data analysis to support and challenge decision-making
- Structure and conduct test-and-learn approach for the Group: e. g.
new way of shopping, how we help TECH product to priorities features and run experiments - test case identification, implementation, post-test analysis, continuous improvement of approach
- Support Traffic planning in coordination with Growth and Economic region/store planning team for the yearly budget planning process
- Work with broader marketing and business team to ensure digital strategies are fully integrated and aligned with customer vision.
- Support and monitor business case elaboration for Group-/ Division-wide growth initiatives
The type of person we are looking for:
- MA degree from a leading university
- Previous experience in a consulting company
- Intellectual rigor and agility
- Customer-centric mindset
- Experience interacting with marketing data scientists, Tech products design, customer experience journey.
- Experience working with multiple high-levelled stakeholders
- Fluency in English, additional language a plus, international mindset
