Job open for internal and external candidates COMPANY PROFILE IDV, a brand of Iveco Group, is dedicated to delivering innovative automotive and protection solutions to meet the needs of military customers worldwide. The company manufactures specialist logistic, protected, and armoured vehicles in its facility in Bolzano in Northern Italy, as well as marketing IVECO's full commercial range, adapted as necessary to meet the demands of the military user. In consequence, IDV has a full range of vehicles to meet a broad spectrum of defence applications. Location: VITTORIO VENETO PRIMARY FUNCTION / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The resource will be part of the EHS team to manage and implement measures to prevent and protect from workers and environmental risks in conformity with the current regulations. Main activities: Take care of the development and updating of operational tools at both central and plant level, identifying any need for integration of existing tools. Interact with the EHS Team, EHS Manager of the plant and other organizational units, in order to support them in the correct implementation of the defined guidelines and procedures. Interface especially with the technical functions of manufacturing engineering and the entire production process in order to ensure the necessary specialist support related to the safety of machinery and plants, as well as methods for assessing health and safety risks, including industrial hygiene and ergonomics. Contribute to the development of methodologies and operational tools aimed at improving prevention by collaborating with colleagues in the Safety team and health and safety specialists centrally. Collaborate in the updating and development of guidelines and procedures for the management of the various issues of industrial safety and hygiene. Act as the Safety team contact for the areas of competence for specific production units. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Degree in engineering or prevention techniques; Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and management systems ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; Good knowledge of chemistry and industrial hygiene issues; Good knowledge of the machinery directive; Excellent Office package knowledge; Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
