EHS Advisor

We need to internalize new technical skills required by the different risk scenario arising from several on going construction activities and refurbishment facility projects and plans that will continue for the next 10 years.

Moreover there is the need to manage all the Fire & Loss Prevention activities previously covered by an on

- site expert consultant, now on retirement.

The EHS advisor will collaborate with the EHS team in the risk monitoring and audit activities and will also work in strict contact with the Fac. & Engineering team in order to ensure them the proper advice and control of risks.

The EHS & Loss Prevention Advisor will be a link between EHS and Facilities & Engineering Depts focused on giving H&S advice on risk related to construction working activities and new projects managed by Eng.

& Facilities.

She/he will be responsible for the following activities:

- Preparation of DUVRI (Document for the assessment interference risks) and information/training to external contractors on risks of the site and internal procedures

- Audit / inspections to the main contractors working on site

- Fire prevention: consultancy and relationships with external consultants/ Fire Brigades, advice for new projects

- Internal Emergency Plan revision and update

- DSEAR assessments -update of documentation classification of areas at risk for explosion and relative risk assessments with the support of external specialists

- Emergency team coordination: training program, PPE selection and update, annual evacuation drill, practical training for the identified scenarios

- Incidents investigation

- Relationship with the Insurance Company external consultants and collaboration wit Facility for the implementation of recommendation

- Support to Risk management activities

- Support for the Business Continuity Plan implementation

Degree in Engineering strongly preferred.

Previsous experience of 5 years in management of safety in construction activities / fire prevention recommended.
