**Position Description
The EHS Data Analyst supports EHS data systems and processes that are critical to governance of the function.
Examples include, but are not limited to, NCHC EHS digital platforms, EHS websites, EHS SharePoint workspaces, incident reporting process and data collection validation processes.
S/he is responsible for reliable data that supports EHS communications and plays a key role in EHS community communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support EHS Data Management Systems Lifecycle Management.
This includes but is not limited to deployment, maintenance, and deprecation.
- Deploy a Data Analytics Strategy to drive EHS business needs and performance management.
- Support Communication and insights back to business for continuous improvement.
- Act as liaison between IT and business partners for EHS data-related needs, queries, and issues.
- Execute data governance and drive Data Quality improvements.
- Ensure 100% End to End integration with Company Digital Strategy.
- Develop and maintain Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools to communicate EHS/OH data.
- Support EHS leaders in development, maintenance and use of tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau or other) to support business needs, metric and performance reporting.
**Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Education: University/Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, data analytics, supply chain, management or safety sciences
- Years of experience: minimum 6-8 years with proven successful performance
- Ability to understand the IT community & translate this for the EHS community
- Knowledge and ability to develop data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
- Demonstrated strategic thinking
- Strong English communication (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects with varying complexity
- Demonstrated analytical problem solving and ability to structure data for visual understanding
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:
- Advanced degree in engineering, science, data analytics, supply chain, management or safety sciences
- Six Sigma, FPX certification
- Demonstrated experience in site, regional or global EHS processes
- Demonstrated ability in developing metrics, trend analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Experience with Intelex, SharePoint and Power BI
