What you will doThe EHS Engineer will collaborate to ensure an effective/efficient management of Health, Safety and Environmental topics for Pomezia Plant and Local Country in compliance with current legal regulations and Corporate standard. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport EHS Site Lead / RSPP to develop/update site risk assessment activities. Analyze and implement, in collaboration with EHS Site Lead and Business Area Managers, the safety and hygiene measures in the workplace based on the risk factors identification. Guarantee compliance and fulfillment of all legal obligations regarding occupational health, safety and environmental protection. Along with EHS Site Lead, prepare and implement training plans on safety environment for internal and external personnel. Develop and ensure a culture in line with EHS principles/regulations for all the employees. Take care and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Implement and update technical procedures and operating instructions relating to the EHS management system. Organize and join internal meetings on EHS topics. Carry out plant inspections and audits to identify opportunities for improvement. Identify and follow up findings from internal reports, near misses or incidents. Manage, together or in the absence of EHS Site Lead, relations with authorities regarding safety and environmental protection. Support EHS Site Lead and HR department in case of internal consultations with union representatives on workplace safety. Facilitate projects to enhance the efficiency of the use of water, energy and waste resources in collaboration with the Facility department and the other site production departments. What we are looking forRequired Qualifications2-3 years of experience in similar roles;Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent;Good knowledge of Italian and European EHS legislation;General knowledge of job related topics (e. g.
EHS Risks, analytical tools, . . . );Fluent Italian and English;Good knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001;ASPP certification;Strong verbal and written communication skills;Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity and flexibility in problem solving and ability to work in a team.
