Client:Location:Job Category: OtherEU work permit required: YesJob Reference: b4cf2014ddd0Job Views: 4Posted: 22. 01. 2025Expiry Date: 08. 03. 2025Job Description:Basic FunctionThe EHS Prevention and Protection Specialist will collaborate in the risk assessment and drafting of the relevant risk assessment document, planning and controlling the prevention and protection measures to guarantee adequate levels of health and safety.
He/She will identify risk factors within the company and continuously monitor the dynamics regarding the state of structural and technological resources (work environments, systems, machines, equipment, organization, training, and work practices), reporting risk situations in writing to the employer.
He/She will participate in consultations on health and safety at work, including the annual periodic meeting (art.
35 Legislative Decree 81/2008). General Responsibilities:Provide workers with the information required by art.
36 Legislative Decree 81/2008. Identify and monitor opportunities for improvement in safety and the environment. Plan and contact suppliers for periodic checks of safety, fire, emergency, electrical safety systems, and for the supply of goods and services (PPE, modifications, small equipment, environmental analyses). Promote programs or initiatives to raise awareness of the OCS (Operation Clean Sweep) program. Support internal safety and environmental audits. Apply and enforce rules and procedures relating to security aspects (ISO28000 Management System). Use customized software for the creation of safety data sheets. Record data in the Intelex system. Area of Expertise and Requirements:Plant personnel apply and comply with safety and environmental regulations. DVR updated and compliant with regulations. Machinery and systems continuously updated and compliant with regulations. Reduction of the LTA index and the number of accidents. Plant compliance with environmental regulations. Continuous reduction of environmental impact through continuous improvement. Zero incidents. Minimum Qualifications:Education Requirements:Technical high school diploma. 2 years of seniority in the role. Certificate of attendance, with learning assessment, at specific qualifying training courses (ASPP). Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in engineering subjects. Participation in training for internal auditors on specific topics. Knowledge of English. Courses on people management, delegation, and leadership. Work Experience Requirements:Knowledge of the requirements of the safety and environmental management system. Use of the office package. Use of AUTO-CAD. Preferred Qualifications:Languages:Italian mother tongue. English, additional language preferred. Other Skills:Teamwork culture. Effective communication. Employee engagement.
