The EHS Prevention and Protection Specialist will collaborate in risk assessment and drafting relevant documentation, planning, and controlling prevention and protection measures to ensure adequate health and safety levels.

Responsibilities include identifying risk factors, monitoring workplace dynamics, and reporting risk situations to the employer.

Participation in health and safety consultations is also required.

General Responsibilities Provide workers with information required by art.

36 Legislative Decree 81/2008.

Identify and monitor opportunities for improvement in safety and the environment.

Plan and coordinate with suppliers for periodic safety checks and supply of goods/services (PPE, modifications, small equipment, environmental analyses).

Promote initiatives to raise awareness of the OCS (Operation Clean Sweep) program.

Support internal safety and environmental audits.

Apply and enforce rules and procedures related to security aspects (ISO28000 Management System).

Utilize customized software for safety data sheets creation.

Record data in the Intelex system.

Area of Expertise and Requirements Compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Updated and compliant DVR.

Continuous compliance of machinery and systems with regulations.

Reduction of the LTA index and accidents.

Compliance with environmental regulations.

Continuous improvement to reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications Education Requirements

• Technical high school diploma.

• 2 years of experience in the role.

• Certificate of attendance at specific qualifying training courses (ASPP).

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

• Training for internal auditors on specific topics.

• Knowledge of English.

• Courses on people management, delegation, and leadership.

Work Experience Requirements

• Knowledge of safety and environmental management system requirements.

• Proficiency in office software.

• Proficiency in AUTO-CAD.

Preferred Qualifications Languages

• Italian (mother tongue)

• English and an additional language preferred.
