**Job Description**:
For our supply chain organization in Italy currently we are looking for a:
**EH&S Specialist to join our Busnago manufacturing plant
This is a full-time, site-based role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Legislation surveillance and ensuring that the management team at the Busnago plant is informed about changes that may affect the business.
- Take ownership of all EHS aspects for the Italian legal entity (with main focus on the manufacturing site)
- Responsible for reporting within Solenis, to authorities and other stakeholders within EHS area.
- Responsible for, revise and develop management systems within the EHS area (ISO 14000, OSHAS 18000 and RC 14000) with target evaluation and follow-up.
- Responsible for management of change notifications.
- Lead and organize EHS relevant meeting.
- Acts as coordinator for waste management and classification of waste.
- Special responsibility for evacuations, participating in the crisis group, updating the emergency plan.
- Lead and participate in risk assessments within the EHS area.
- Training manager in the EHS area.
The Individual
**Competency requirements**:
- MSc in chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent.
- RSPP license for ATECO 5
- A few years of work experience in the EHS area, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of audits in quality, environment, and work environment.
- Good knowledge of risk assessments and different methods for carrying them out.
- Ability to lead an incident investigation, develop proper corrective actions and coordinate implementation
- Ability to express oneself both orally and in writing in Italian and English.
- Knowledge of Seveso regulation and management system is a strong plus
