The EH&S Specialist designs, develops, implements, and oversees the organization's Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) programs and procedures to safeguard employees and the environment. .

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Confirm compliance of all facilities with EH&S regulations and corporate requirements.

- Act as a partner in EH&S by formulating and administering EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management.

- Responsible for multiple EH&S specialties.

- Perform tasks associated with Health/Safety and Environmental/Compliance.

- Coordinate with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.

- Organizes and maintains EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations.

- Manages relationships across other specialized departments to achieve and maintain compliance with EH&S regulations and corporate requirements.

- Executes initiatives, programs, procedures, reports, permits and trains across multiple EH&S disciplines, as required to achieve and maintain compliance.

- Monitor local performance against EH&S regulator requirements to achieve and maintain conformance.

- Support business partners' facilities and employee practices to achieve and maintain understanding and compliance with EH&S regulations.

- Contributes to required environmental regulatory reports and submissions to achieve and maintain standard documentation.

- Organizes and maintains EH&S Training to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations

- Provide support for contract negotiation/creation to the team to achieve and maintain safety and compliance to regulations.

**Professional Requirements**:

- Experience managing small projects or processes.

- Advanced knowledge of work area.

- Ability to resolve difficult and complex problems.

- Ability to work autonomously with limited oversight from management.

- Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

**Education**:

- Engineering degree (Environmental preferred)

- Microsoft Office Tools capability

**Languages**:

- Fluent English
