Lippert Marine, with its brand Lewmar, presents to its customers a portfolio of hardware, winches, hydraulics, windlasses, anchors, thrusters, steering systems, hatches and portlights to suit every boat from the smallest day fisher to largest mega-yacht.
**_EHS SPECIALIST - ASPP (Pontedera)_
**_Job Summary_
Reporting to EHS Manager, the EHS Specialist - ASPP will support to ensure safety performance in line with team and functional goals, to spread Lippert safety culture and to keep all our members safe, fulfilled, motivated and empowered.
The successful person will be in charge of risk management and of keeping safety and environmental standards for the Company's plants as EHS specialist with the designation of ASPP.
**_Tasks_
- Undertaking risk assessment with follow up control measures to completion.
- Preparing and updating EHS system documentation (DVR, DUVRI, specific risk assessment, emergency plan, procedures).
- Monitoring facilities, keeping high focus on compliance with Lippert safety procedures.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and any incident, as you establish root causes.
- Update internal records regarding incidents, near misses and accidents.
- Supporting the business to ensure compliance to local and EU regulation.
- Undertake action plans to ensure compliance with regulations and the standards established by Lippert.
- Support Operations and the involved stakeholders to prepare work instruction release, train team members, PPE management and assets maintenance programs (CIVA).
- Management of environmental authorizations, impacts and waste.
- Management of service suppliers activities and Clients safety Portal.
- Preparing EHS recurring reports and KPI management.
- Supporting implementation of EHS programs.
- Flexibility on hours worked to cover shifts during peak and ensure investigation are completed.
- Arrange and conduct surveys and audit in the environment, processes and on employee behaviour.
**_Requirements_
- Qualification as ASPP.
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or safety disciplines with minimum 2-3 years of EHS experience (preferably as ASPP role in an industrial company).
Who also has relevant experience will be considered.
- Spoken and written good fluency in English and Italian.
- Have demonstrable in-depht understanding of essential/relevant EHS legislation and ISO standards.
- Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point), Autocad.
- Ability to work under the minimum of supervision.
- Have a proven ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly, while closely adhering to new processes and procedures.
- Organizational and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the business head.

**_Position Type/Expected Hours of Work_
Fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months with the prospect of long-term employment.
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
