Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.

We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

As an EHS Specialist, you will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and/or process.

Your responsibilities will include developing, planning, and executing the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.

Essential Responsibilities Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectationsImplement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure complianceMaintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulationsModify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systemsDevelop and provide education programs related to specific disciplinesProvide and determine alternatives for issue resolutionEnsure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safetyQualifications/Requirements Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related environment, health and safety disciplines, or High School Technical DiplomaPrevious work experience in EHSKnowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D. lgs.
