Our client is a leading Industrial Vehicles manufacturing company.

**Posizione**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical leader for the cost analysis and targets of power cables (low and high-voltage) and electrical/electronic components and systems for new design and modifications;

- Contribution to the development of concepts, guiding the designers to select the best technologies, process and materials to achieve the target cost;

- Benchmark activity;

- Target cost estimation during the design and development process, working with the Cost Manager to ensure estimates accuracy and to make appropriate adjustments and resolve issues;

- Support the systems and components development with Design to cost approach, guiding the designers to cost oriented solutions in an integrated product development team;

- Establish cost estimates of production processes and tooling costs and review alternatives or put forward recommendations for improvement;

- Perform cost risk analysis and provide input to value engineering;

- Support Purchasing during the target negotiation;

- Provide strategic directions about alternatives to existing materials, solutions and more cost-effective production methods;

- Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review.

**Requisiti**:

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or at least 6-8 years job experience in Cost engineering of Electric/Electronic product and processes;

- English knowledge upper-intermediate;

- Notions of norms and standards impacting on electrics perimeter;

- Use and knowledge of procedures and standards in E/E area.
