Job Purpose and Impact

The Electrical and Instrumentation Heat & Power Plant Maintenance Specialist will design, develop and maintain electrical, mechanical, automation and instrumentation control systems or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

In this role, you will plan and direct the daily activities of instrumentation and electrical technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance to the asset management program.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Heat & Power Plant Maintenance department including mechanical instrumentation, controls systems, PED and safety.

Participate in developing operational and capital budgets, estimating labor, material, construction costs and designs electrical equipment, facilities, components. .

Provide oversight and inspection during the commissioning and startup of new equipment and systems to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Control inventory and place orders for various equipment, material, instrumentation, electrical and mechanical parts Oversee contract maintenance and coordinates with consultants and contractors interacting with other departments and vendors to meet customer requirements and key performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum one year of directly related work experience

PES qualification (Electrical Expert)

Preferred Qualifications

Electrical technical diploma and English knowledge

Prior experience in designing and building electrical systems such as power, lighting and signal

Maintenance experience in Electrical Power Plant

ATEX GAS knowledge

RI (Responsible for Electrical System)

**Knowledge of Energy cogeneration plant**: Gas turbine, steam turbine, steam boiler

Experience with medium and high Voltage electrical System

Manage PED inspection with authority (ARPAV) and repairs (INAIL) and all other legal requirement (DPR 462, protection system against atmospheric discharges, grounding protection, ATEX directives, bridge cranes, hosts).
