Electrical Commodity BuyerJob location: Turin

Overview:Reporting to the Commodity Leader - Electrical Components, you will work closely with suppliers and colleagues from different countries with the objective to drive the Global strategy across our Sites in the EMEA Region. You will be responsible to identify and drive proactive strategies for the Global Electrical Components Commodity across all Wabtec Business Units with a clear focus on margin improvement, cash generation, supplier relationship management, dual source development, low cost country spend migration, cross functional project management, supplier delivery performance management and service part productivity.

Task:Commodity management and supplier panelManages relationship with his/her regional suppliers, be the key point of contact for regional suppliersDrivers and monitors the selection process of new suppliersBuilds budget, forecast, STRAP for assigned commodityMonitors PPI savings on a monthly basis, drive action plansOptimizes PO payment terms and implement supplier RPAProvides supplier vendor list to project buyers before RFQIs responsible for Contracting for suppliers that are new for the siteValidates supplier selection from project buyers, participate to Project Sourcing CommitteeDrives sourcing competitiveness initiatives for existing / standard parts, e. g.

technical savings with Engineering, RFQ benchmarkIs responsible for re-sourcing in serial life and for contract amendments and renegotiations

Technical Requirements:+5 years experience in Purchasing or Project Sourcing. Experience in a globalized matrix industrial environment. Expertise on the commodity Electrical Components. Good proficiency with MS Excel. Fluent in English (other language is a plus). Skilled multi-cultural negotiator. Avalability for Frequent travel trips (30-50%).
