Electrical Engineer
Location: Milan
The client is a rapidly expanding company in the European market for large-scale solar energy. Currently, we have operations in Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Romania, the Netherlands, and Germany. Given the company's dynamic growth, we are seeking individuals for a project development manager.
ResponsibilitiesDesign MV and HV renewable energy systems, including creating preliminary, definitive, and executive drawings and layouts, and system sizing. Analyse, study, and optimise connections to the electricity grid, managing relationships with ENEL distribution and/or TERNA. Analyse historical production and irradiation data. Model systems using software such as PVsyst and PVcase. Conduct technical analyses to optimise photovoltaic system performance and verify installable power. Manage and prepare all necessary documentation for connection requests to Terna and other suppliers. Oversee interconnection procedures with the electricity system and negotiate interconnection contracts. Coordinate with Terna and other suppliers to manage the company's connection points within the country. Prepare documentation, including preliminary projects and floor plans, to obtain authorisations. Engage with Public Administration staff to secure permits. Develop, coordinate, manage, and negotiate the primary permits and contracts for project connections. Draft studies and technical documentation in coordination with the technical team, including production studies, drawings, and budgets. QualificationsDegree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field (e. g. , mechanical engineering). Proficiency in using CAD and GIS software independently. Minimum B2 level proficiency in English. Registration in the professional register is a plus. At least 2 years of experience in the authorisation process and electrical design of medium and high voltage energy production systems, with a preference for industrial and utility-scale renewable sources. Experience in defining the architecture and layout of industrial-scale and utility-scale renewable plants. Ability to assess PV energy yield.
