The Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Team Leader, will mainly take care of the design of electrical parts, assemblies and devices, related to contactless measurement systems, both for railway and steelworks applications.

He will have to elaborate and maintain project documentation such as the bill of materials and related documents, and choose adequate electrical/electronic components.

It is mandatory to ensure compliance of the systems with international technical standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities Assuring compliance of the design to project requirements and applicable legal regulations and standards.

Respecting project milestones as agreed with the PM and the team leader.

Minimizing costs in manufacturing (both parts production and product assembly).

Elaboration of SPAC models and drawings of electrical schemes.

Elaboration of electrical BOMs.

Estimating implementation effort for given tasks.

Documenting design specifications and implementation details.

Collaborating with other team members (including optical and electronic engineers) to agree on system designs, interfaces, etc.

Collaborating with other departments (Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Control, etc. )

to guarantee the required quality of parts and products.

In some applications, selection of the PLC and PLC programming.

Technical Skills, Qualifications, and Professional Experience Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (Aeronautical/Naval/Mechatronics).

(Nice to have) 1-2 years of experience in similar roles (new graduates are accepted).

(Nice to have) Experience with CAD systems (SPAC preferred).

(Nice to have) Knowledge of EU Directives, national and international technical standards.

Basic knowledge of Windows Office.

Conversational knowledge of written and spoken Italian, at least B1 level.

Good knowledge of written and spoken English, at least B2 level.

Availability for sporadic national and international travel.

(Nice to have) Basic PLC programming experience.
