ELECTRICAL ENGINEERLocation: Client's Office_ MILAN, Italy/Engineering DepartmentWorking hours: 8 hours / 5 days ( possible to work 2 days/week from REMOTE)Contract duration: 12 months, with possible extensionAvailability: ASAPJob DescriptionPerform the electrical discipline engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements, within time schedule and quality standardsEnsure a correct and timely exchange of information with all the Project interfacesBidding phase/Commercial proposal developmentAnalyze and understand Tender documentationTake part in electrical system design reviewIdentify technical queries, deviations an d alternatives to be submittedImplement bidding methodologies, design criteria and guidelinesDefine and issue request for quotation and relevant Technical Bid Tabulation for items not estimated in houseCoordinate material quantities and weights (MTOs) estimationPrepare bill of quantities for erection works cost estimationSupport Electrical Lead to define manhours estimation D-Project Execution (Job progress and completionPrepare Project design criteria for electrical systemDefine the configuration of the electrical system and the single line diagramPerform electrical system calculation and studies (e. g.

power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) to define the equipment ratingPrepare relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study and setting tablesCheck and review technical documentation according to Project and Saipem procedur esPrepare Purchase Requisitions and bids technical evaluationPerform check and review of Vendor technical documentationProvide technical support to Procurement in purchasing and to Post order in expediting and testingDevelop electrical system plant design (e. g.

cable routings, grounding) and substations arrangementsPerform power cables sizingDefine typical installation details, bulk materials selection and take off (MTOs)Define bill of quantities and prepare technical documentation for electrical system installationDefine technical procedure for electrical system testing and energizatin Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical EngineeringForeign languages: Italian and English - high level
