Job Purpose:

Maintaining the manufacturing operations, troubleshoot hardware and software failures, and work to continuously improve the systems, processes, and procedures in area of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities: Role activities include, but are not limited to:

Follow safety rules, and comply with H&S, Environment, and Quality management systemsProactively participate and promote 5S and safety programsTroubleshooting of PLC's, AC/DC Motors, Drives, Robots, and other Electrical componentsRead / Troubleshoot Electrical prints and diagramsPerform planned maintenance activities on the equipment during stoppagesPerform continuous inspection of the equipment to ensure correct operation and early diagnosis of problemsTake a full part in diagnosis of production / quality problems and then implementing corrective action plansCover for Production Technicians as requiredWork to continuously improve the systems, processes, and procedures in area of responsibility. Skills & Competences: Technical DegreePrevious maintenance experience that demonstrates a high level of troubleshooting skills, electrical and mechanical with an emphasis on electricalWorking knowledge of PLC (Siemens), and Drive programming and maintenance.

Experience of robotics, extruders/injectors and other process machinery to include CNC is a plus. Capability to work on own initiative, autonomously where required and to take responsibility. Ability to work in a team environment, participating in continuous improvement activities using problem solving techniques.
