Our client is a leading energy technology company that designs, manufactures, and services transformative technologies to help take energy forward. The Electrical System Design Engineer will help the group's growth by designing large electric motors and generators and conducting engineering design reviews with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with customer contractual specifications and applicable international rules. Responsibilities:Managing technical proposals, reviewing customer specifications, and identifying customer requirements, comments, and deviations during bid clarification meetings (BCM);Performing technical selection of all electrical items in the scope of supply, including MV variable speed drive systems, fixed speed motors, power generators, and BOP equipment like batteries, DC panels, MV switchgear, MCC, and LCC;Managing technical documentation during the engineering development phase and following up with suppliers and customers until finalization;Formulating functional purchase specifications and ensuring close technical alignment of supplier technical proposals. Requirements:Proficiency in Italian and English communication. Experience in converting design requirements into RFQ data sheets and finalizing comments and deviations, including the required quality standards. Knowledge of the operation and working philosophy of electrical machines and BOP. Expertise in battery, DCP, and MCC sizing calculations. Proven experience in the design of electrical items.
