Electrification Supplier Quality Engineer

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Supplier Quality Specialist evaluates supplier competencies, tooling, equipment, facilities and processes.
He will highlight supplier weaknesses and then identify, evaluate and implement recommendations to improve supplier systems, products and processes.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the global product development process for new products and ensure that suppliers meet CNH Industrial requirements.
Acting with Purchasing and platform about sourcing strategies and their implementation process definition, particularly on initial assessment (PSA Potential Supplier Assessment) and ensure that suppliers meet CNH Industrial requirements for APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) and Part Approval Process.
Support current product quality management activities.
Grant extensive and deep usage of problem-solving techniques at suppliers (8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.
).
Verify capability studies to assure process stability and accuracy (e. g.
Cp, CPk).
Perform at supplier Process Control Plan Audit (PCPA) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
Support suppliers and engineering/quality team in developing technical solutions to fix quality/product issues in field and/or during development process
YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five years' experience in following fields: Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product validation, Product/Plant Quality
General knowledge of key industrial manufacturing processes
Project management skills (excellent in defining projects scope and assigning responsibility)
Leadership and consolidated experience in managing technical topics
On the job experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality related to the production of electrical, electronics, electrochemical and electromechanical devices
Strong knowledge on state-of-the-art battery and supercapacitors for vehicles
Strong knowledge on state-of-the-art for control systems such as converter, inverter, electric motors, actuators, charger,
Good knowledge on electric functional safety and diagnostics calibration
Design, manufacturing and assembly process, norms and regulations, related to above items
Solid knowledge of related quality tools (APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PCPA/PSA, (Process control plan audit/ Potential Supplier Assessment), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), etc.
), international standards, international Agency standards (ISO)
Problem solving techniques (Kaizen, 8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.
).
Degree in Engineering (preferred: Electronic, Mechatronic, Aerospace, Automotive)
Very good English knowledge (both spoken and written)
Flexibility and team-working oriented
Good leadership skills
Good communication capabilities
Strongly self-motivated, determined and proactive, result driven
Ability to learn and to work under pressure
Sense of initiative, autonomous work organization
Availability to travel
