Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70, 000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide   Purpose of the job: Develop and deliver the Railway Mechanical Product in line with the Product Roadmap and as agreed with the Program Manager Play the key role between Engineering Design team and Design Authority / Program Managers / Solution Direction in the definition of technical answer to the needs expressed   Key accountabilities With the Design Authority and the Product Program Manager, define and agree on the Product development roadmap that he/she commits to deliver With the Product Program Manager, manage the Product Development team for both internal (Products Engineering) and external (buy) developments, ensuring respect of Quality Cost Delivery commitments Ensure technical coordination within program engineering team, arbitrate design choice  Specify the Product characteristics and ensure that the Product delivers the performance levels expected as defined in the Product roadmap and meet Systems and Platforms expectations Organize and lead Product Design Reviews,   Support Make or Buy analysis and arbitration Develop design-to-cost approach in developments to decrease unit cost of solutions Manage Product Requirements: ensure the traceability of the product requirements (from product level down to software and hardware level) and ensure that each product requirement has been addressed by Verification & Validation through the whole development cycle Manage Product Configuration, Change Management and deliveries: establish and maintain the configuration baselines, perform configuration reviews, lead the Change Control Board with the Program Manager With the Product Program Manager, provide QCD estimation on Bids and user projects requests and support System Application Architects in gap analysis/QCD quotation   Required skills: MSc in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering 5 years in Mechanical development in similar products environments (Automotive – Military – Pharmaceutical – Packaging) Product Design/Architecture, Hw, Sw, V&V, RAM, Safety Functional team management and  s ub-contractor management  Fluent french and english   Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
