The selected candidate will join CAEN's Development Team to design data acquisition boards for research in nuclear physics. We are seeking an electronic engineer to serve as a hardware designer, developing electronic instrumentation.

Required skills include PCB design, proficiency with electronic simulation tools, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

The new hire will report to a Senior R&D Manager and receive comprehensive training. 1.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:Product specificationDesign electrical schematics and PCBDevelopment of test softwareHardware debugging using oscilloscopes or other test equipmentSpecifying, documenting, and executing tests to ensure that electronic products meet the requirementsAssisting in the editing technical documentationOrganizing, participating in and documenting design reviewsStrong interaction with the customer during the design phase and in after-sales support2.

Qualifications:University degree in Electronics Engineering or comparableStrong interest in working with technology and programmingGood knowledge in analog and digital electronics, with particular emphasis on low noise amplifiers, A/D converters, high speed links and interfaces, FPGA and micro controllersAbility to:Work effectively in a group development environmentProblem-solve effectivelyPersistently drive projects to successful completionAvailable for international travelProficiency in English language (written and spoken)Italian Mother language3.
