We are now seeking an Electronic Engineer who will work on the design and fabrication of electronic systems for photonic circuits.

Your Role Designing analog and digital circuits, producing schematics and layouts, and characterizing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Programming firmware for microcontrollers and developing software/scripts with object-oriented languages like Python. Designing mechanical components and enclosures to host electronic systems, with a strong focus on thermal management for electronics. Studying and characterizing new optoelectronic and photonic devices with both benchtop instrumentation (SMUs, oscilloscopes, etc. )

and custom electronics. Investigating novel solutions for controlling programmable integrated photonic circuits. Automating fabrication processes with innovative techniques such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. The Candidate We Are Looking For Has a Master or a PhD in Electronic Engineering. Wants to work in a startup and knows what it entails. Can commit to full-time lab presence; due to the nature of the role, we will not consider remote applicants.
