Your 'day to day':
As Electronic Technical Specialist you will be part of our Manufacturing Department and you will be reporting to the Supervisor Technical Services.
The position will be based in Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S. p. A. (Bologna).
In your role, you will own, maintain and improve technical conditions of production equipment in order to achieve production and quality requirements, by respecting the health, safety, quality and production standards.
As SME for digital, electronical, automation and software, study and propose technical improvement to the digital initiatives, collaborating with OEM and central function in the definition of future processes.
You will also contribute to build team capabilities and knowledge on new line process and you will use and comply all standard OPEN+ Systems and tools according to requirements of the Equipment Line Pillars step and Site Phase.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss.
Promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS
- Participate in the Vertical Start Up for the digital, automation initatives and projects.
Responsible to define and implement optimal electronical maintenance standards in quality perpective in new processes, and to improve the existing.
Develop the digital and electrical control strategies to enable operators to respond to out of control situations and ensure that documentation is in place and used in the line(s) whenever out of limit situations occur.
- Contribute on the design phase of Digital and Automation Solutions/Products providing technical information about the current status of the factory (Master Data, hardware, software, firmware, etc).
Support deployment of new Digital and Automation Solutions with machine integration.
Ensure effective change management for software and hardware among equipment types (i. e.
: All machines of same type must have the same current best solutions implemented).
Who we're looking for:
- Technical School (Secondary Technical School or Technical University)
- Overall Experience: more than 2 yrs electronic/digital/automation experience in industrial environment or similar activities
- knowledge in automation control systems.
- Ability in utilization of technical tools and software.
Troubleshooting skills
- Digital Soft Skill as Knowledge Networking and Digital Self Empowerment
- Local Language and Fluent English
