Hauptaufgaben Incumbent performs installation, maintenance, testing and repair joint Services interior intrusion Detection Systems (JSIIDS) at USAG-Italy and outlying sites in Italy.
Performs operational testing, maintenance and repair of digital control, monitoring, metering and transmission data systems installed in and for proper functioning of HVAC systems , Medium Voltage /Low Voltage electrical systems including co-generators, heating and cooling production systems, TVCC, gas detectors and fire detectors.
Incumbent works alone or with a higher graded employee accomplishes assignments, which typically involve a segment of a broader system and for which precedents, and accepted conventional techniques are generally applicable.
Tests and checks the effect of a variety of oil.
Environmental conditions, including shock, vibration, and extremes in temperature on equipment.
Uses all types of test and measurement instruments.
Incumbent adjusts voltage, gain, stability and other operating characteristics of circuits.
Determines component capabilities and proper utilization in a circuit.
Maintains complete records of maintenance and operations.
Interprets instructional material on maintenance and operation of equipment.
Prepares or assists in the preparation of formal reports.
Performs the full range of work involved in installation and repair of underground electrical distribution systems up to 20, 000 Volts.
Installs underground cable and conduit, runs overhead wire and conduit and attaches to cross arms and makes electrical connections by splicing and/or other method.
Runs load tests on transformers, checks and corrects circuit malfunctions, etc. , using a variety of test instruments.
Operates standby generator equipment and related equipment.
May direct work of others assigned to assist in specific operations.
Installs, modifies and repairs auxiliary electrical systems in the Cogen set including on board electrical panels and sensors, transducers and actuators, LV distribution panels, boxes, UPS, fixtures, apparatus, HV and LV transformers, switch gears, photovoltaic systems, HV and LV tri-generation systems, HV/LV electrical substations and other electrical systems.
Tests circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ampmeter, wattmeter, megger and ohmmeter.
Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles and installs conduits, inserting, splicing and connecting wires to fixtures, outlets, switches, receptacles and power source.
Observes all safety rules and regulations DLgs.
81/08, CEI EN 50110 and CEI 11/27, such as use of rubber gloves and sheathes (blankets), hot sticks, climbers and safety belts.
Controls by mechanical and digital systems, UMCS, 0 electrical substation, HV and LV tri-generation systems, photovoltaic systems.
NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08. 00 to 17. 00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.
