Tasks
Job description
**Main responsibilities**:
- Perform experimental tests with diverse cell preparations and cell models (e. g. , cultures, spheroids, organoids) on 3Brain's measurement systems.
- Supervising and maintaining a cell culture laboratory, dealing with the culture of adherent mammalian cell lines and iPSCs.
- Process experimental results, perform statistical analysis, prepare and present reports.
- Organization of daily research activities, managing project priorities and deadlines, identifying and resolving instrumentation issues, arranging maintenance contracts and servicing.
- Routine laboratory maintenance including for example: changing filters, gas tanks, cleaning machines, ordering equipment supplies and reagents
**Requirements**:
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in molecular biology / biomedical sciences / neurobiology.
- Experience with either microelectrode array (MEA) or patch-clamp recordings.
- Knowledgeable about statistical analysis tools.
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in cell culturing and maintenance (especially hIPSCs).
- Highly motivated self-starter and problem solver.
- Proficient working in a Windows environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong molecular and biochemical background.
- 1+ years of laboratory experience in compound screening assays.
