Time left to apply: End Date: March 21, 2025 (11 days left to apply) Job Requisition ID: R0016399 Job Description: As a member of the Engineering & Innovation Governance team for systems engineering, the candidate will support multiple programs for requirements management, modelling, and simulation activities. With IT and other Governance teams support, he will set up the digital environment and process to perform systems engineering activities, and tailor it according to each program's needs. He will perform modelling and simulation activities according to the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology to support chief project engineers and experts from multiple aerospace disciplines in concept design, architecture trade-off studies, onboard systems integration, and other platform-level analyses. He will be responsible for integration, versioning, and maintenance of models in the digital environment. He will collect lessons learned about systems engineering and MBSE from each project and distribute them to the systems engineering community. He will contribute to the creation of modelling libraries and tools for automation of systems engineering activities. Requirements: Aeronautical or aerospace MSc. Knowledge and appreciation of systems engineering processes, such as requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation, change control, etc. Proven expertise in modelling and simulation for design and development activities at multiple levels (functional, physical, geometrical). Expertise with Matlab scripting required. Good programming skills. Preferred languages: Python, Java, C, C++, Javascript. Knowledge of multiple tools (CATIA, Simulink, Fluent, etc. ) and awareness of techniques (CFD, FEM, etc. ) for modelling and simulation in the aeronautical industry is recommended. Prior knowledge of an MBSE language (SysML, Arcadia, etc. ) and an MBSE tool (Cameo, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, Capella, etc. ) is a plus. Excellent technical communication skills. Capable of switching between multiple projects. Fluent in Italian and English. European Citizenship mandatory.
