Embedded Software Engineer (m/f /d) / C++/ C / Assembler / low level drivers / software development For our clients Research Center, which plays a leading role within the Group in researching new technologies and applications in the field of digital energy and electric vehicles we are looking for #Embedded #Software #Engineers. The compan y is looking for an operating system engineer to enlarge its development team. In this role, you will be a versatile

software engineer focusing on the design and development of low level drivers and mechanisms.

You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts and PhDs passionate about

research projects and innovative solutions in the automotive and embedded systems domains.

Please note you must have the Right to Work in the EU / already based in Italy to be considered. What we look for somebody, who are able to • Design and optimize RTOS kernel components and device drivers for industrial domains

• Perform low level performance analysis and optimization for CPUs, GPUs and other

hardware components in embedded systems.

Required skills: • Excellent knowledge of the C and/o r C++ programming language and experience with

Assembler

• Knowledge of programming on POSIX operating systems (e. g. , Linux)

• Knowledge about real time and concurrent parallel programming

• Experience in programming real time operating systems (RTOS) and device drivers

• Expertise in low level performance analysis and optimization s for embedded systems

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networks

• Knowledge about concepts of computer architectures, including memory protection

mechanisms (i. e. , MPU and MMU) and address virtualization

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with good own initiative and self organization skills.

• Fluency in English and ability to work in a multicultural environment

Desired Skills: • Knowledge of the energy domain including PV and ESS systems

• Experience in programming ARM or RISCV processors

• Knowledge of safety concepts (e. g. , ISO26262, IEC61508, MISRA C, code coverage, etc. ).

• Experience with hardware debuggers (e. g. , Lauterbach, JLink, etc. )

• Knowledge of the AUTOSAR Classic standard and development tools

• Experience in implementation of unit tests and execution of test automation scripts

through e. g. , CUnit, Googletest) Experience in programming ARM or RISC V processors
