The Manpower Group, in collaboration with Fincantieri Nextech SpA, is looking for an EMBEDDED SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE DEVELOPER to be placed in the Padova office.

Job description:

Inserted within the Engineering function of Fincantieri NexTech, the role involves designing and developing application software in embedded environments and implementing firmware on microcontrollers with or without operating systems.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Engineering for the Digital Solutions Line of Business.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of programming languages C/C#/C++ in Windows and Linux environmentsGood knowledge of PythonExperience in software development for embedded applicationsExperience in firmware development on microcontrollers (e. g. , ST and Microchip)Preferred but not mandatory qualifications:Knowledge of audio/video streaming applicationsGood system knowledge in Linux/Windows environmentsDecision-making autonomy; Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics or equivalent; At least 2 years of experience in the role in nationally or internationally organized companies.

Good knowledge of written and spoken English; Personal characteristics such as excellent relational skills, analytical approach, problem-solving ability, result orientation, teamwork ability, reliability, flexibility, and willingness to travel in Italy complete the profile.

Work Location:

Padova with recurring short/medium-term travel opportunities to clients, construction sites, and other companies belonging to the NexTech Group.
