Embedded Systems Software Engineer – Sr. Staff This position will function as a member of the Bootloader team within the Base Software (BSW) Configuration group in the SWX organization at Stellantis. As a member of this team, you will have a direct impact on creating an evolving software platform for our next generation ECU's. You will work with advanced hardware designs, the latest processor and software technology, embedded RTOS and Linux platforms, and help provide an advanced and extensive software platform for the development of next generation automotive functionality. The candidate will be responsible for Platform Software development for various ECU's on Stellantis vehicles. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university Minimum 8 years of embedded software development experience using C and C++ Experience with software development for Linux and/or QNX/RTOS based embedded systems. Experience with low power systems and power saving modes and methods in a multi-processor system. Knowledge and experience with CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, SPI, UART, Ethernet communications protocols. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work with multiple departments and vendors as well as author specifications and requirements. Good to have working experience on multi-processor system design and IPC Good to have experience working with Yocto Linux, Hypervisors, Dockers, QEMU, etc. Good to have Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university Experience as a team leader within an agile scrum team At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
