Emea Business Development Manager - Molecular
Overview**:
The position holder is responsible to develop the Exact Molecular Controls Business Catalog Products - in alliance with the regional sales organizations for EMEA and to manage the Exact Custom Product business partners in collaboration with the Exact team.
The job holder has the aim to grow the business profitably following a defined business plan, identifying business opportunities and partnerships, negotiating deals and executing contracts in cooperation and in alignment with the local sales organizations and the Exact team where required.
The Business Development Manager, Molecular Controls coordinates the activities at EMEA level, develops the business plan for the product line and executes it in cooperation and in alignment with the local sales teams, the EMEA Key Account Managers Lead, the Exact team (where required) and the supporting functions.
This includes the cooperation to prepare for tenders (EMEA wide and local), building close relationships with key individuals to develop trust and developing customers satisfaction and Bio-Rad's brand image.
Main markets are Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Uk, but territories in scope also include BeNeLux, Nordics, and other European countries.
**Responsibilities**:
Achieve sales targets for the product line - Catalog and Custom product - in cooperation with the local sales Organization.
Identify new business and sales opportunities across the Exact portfolio, all Quality Controls all related Bio-Rad CDG product lines.
Develop and maintain relationships with Molecular Diagnostics accounts, visiting customers on a regular basis at their sites and/or at scientific conferences and meetings.
Work closely with the local sales organizations to ensure the support required (e. g.
for evaluations) for sales projects in the region.
Develop and execute the sales strategy in alignment with the EMEA marketing team.
Facilitate customer queries and work with relevant business partners to ensure customer satisfaction, ensuring that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently in order to increase Bio-Rad CDG business.
Execute technical sales training for the EMEA sales organization.
Track and trend training success to ensure comprehension and execution of sales plan.

Covering selected Molecular Diagnostics countries
Excellent English language skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Medical Device or related field
3-5+ years of proven successful sales track record in the healthcare industry or equivalent combination of education and experience at Regional level
Requires extensive travel - including overnights
