Job Description SummaryThe EMEA Marketing Manager role is responsible to develop and drive the strategic and tactical initiatives for a key market segment of BD Peripheral Intervention BU at European Region and support the European Countries achieve the desired financial performance through comprehensive and timely market development, portfolio management and execution of key marketing programs. The marketing manager prepares the annual marketing strategic and tactical plan for the disease state of responsibility and collaborates closely with countries to customize, adapt plan to local needs and supports countries with plan execution.
This role is responsible for managing total portfolio in a key market segment/ disease state which includes a broad range of products with a number of new products in the pipeline. Reporting to the EMEA Business Director UCC, the Marketing Manager will be working and collaborating with the EMEA marketing platform team consisting of regional product managers and managers. Accountable for achievement of unit and revenue budget for the total portfolio in the HomeCare platform in EMEATranslate strategies into goals into commercialization tactics.
Develop, lead and execute marketing plans required to continue to build and expand the product portfolioDevelop and drive the implementation plans required to support product and program launches and achieve desired NPL results.
Direction provided has a direct impact on the achievement of the region revenue resultsDefine the productmix, place, and pricing strategy.
Drive consistency in messagingWork in direct collaboration with Upstream Marketing, Business Development and Sales to develop and implement a strong commercialization strategy around the product portfolioChampions communications and activities around competitive intelligence and promotion of understanding of competitive tacticsEnsure alignment across key stakeholders, including the relevant Business Unit associates, Country Business Leaders and the field sales forceCreates awareness, promotional campaigns, supports countries adaptation and evaluates performancePerson SpecificationBachelors degree, MBA, medical or scientific graduate degree preferredProven record of success in Sales/ Marketing/ Product Management in the Healthcare environment; Previous experience in HomeCare is preferred Market knowledge:
understanding of the major European healthcare systems to include payers, procurement and clinical decision making in both private and public sectors Experience in delivering multi country product launches & conversion strategies is preferredDemonstrated success in translating business needs into product and product portfolio strategiesExperienced in change management and professional adversityCustomer centric & highly analyticalAnalytical and able to clearly identify customer needs and requirementsPossessing a good understanding / experience of market research techniques - both quantitative and qualitative. Fluent in English.
