**What we're looking for**:
As our Microsoft Alliance Leader, you will be responsible for driving success by leading, developing, and growing all aspects of the alliance relationship with Microsoft, to drive revenue and Cloud adoption for Citrix.
The role will be specifically responsible for driving co-sell, alignment between Citrix and Microsoft at an EMEA level, and ensure flawless execution of our joint motions with Citrix and Microsoft Field teams and Field leaders.
**Position Summary**:
This role is responsible for improving market share and share of wallet across the EMEA region by presenting and executing a clear strategy and execution for the partnership across sell and adoption of Citrix Cloud solutions.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Develop a strategic plan to optimally build joint pipeline and establish joint offerings and advancement opportunities, in alignment with Citrix global priorities
- Drive the team of EMEA Alliance Partner Account Managers, who own the relationships at their countries locations and provide support, leadership, and direction
- Utilize our cross-functional teams of specialists to drive enablement and marketing activities
- Master and leverage 'business levers' including respective priorities, organizations, programs and incentives needed to build further momentum
- Develop a detailed understanding of Microsoft business objectives and optimally communicate across regional sales teams
- Develop strong executive (C-level) relationships with Microsoft executives across EMEA
- Collaborate with Citrix sales teams and leadership on business opportunities
- Enable successful go-to-market partnerships, working with the sales team to accomplish joint solutions sales strategies and readiness plans as well as leverage joint assets to develop a pipeline of opportunities
- Perform against the strategic imperatives as set by the global alliances team as well as track and report progress and actions
**Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
- Strong leader with a good understanding of working across complex alliance partner organizations
- Ability to build and leverage executive relationships internally and externally
- Demonstrated sales management capabilities including drive for results, planning, forecasting for him/ herself and the direct and indirect teams
- Understanding of how to navigate and lead in a sophisticated matrix environment
- Ability to identify and communicate sound value propositions in terms of understanding of both alliance partner and customers' business needs
- Demonstrated leadership by influence skills, with ability to engage, and coordinate both Microsoft and Citrix functions (sales, marketing, pre and post-sales, alliance)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - written, oral and facilitation
- Ability to balance strong strategic and analytical skills with relentless drive on execution, prioritizing customers' needs
- Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, and high growth environment
- Strong level of understanding of product, licensing, and partner programs of Microsoft
**Basic Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive sales & channel leadership experience (10+ years), preferably with some experience leading large and/or strategic accounts
- An experience with a Hyperscaler or large Managed Services provider is a plus
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong connection with Citrix values
