What you will do The EMEA MS&T Packaging Supervisor is responsible for development and qualification of tertiary packaging projects mainly.
These projects might include – but are not limited to – NPD, quality and compliance, improvement of existing packaging, qualification of equivalent packaging materials, packaging cost improvement, plant support, improvement of products profitability, development of new products or roll out of existing ones.
The EMEA MS&T Packaging Supervisor demonstrates a high level of accountability in project documentation to ensure Quality & Compliance targets are systematically met.
Key Responsibilities Identify and evaluate technical solutions, including materials aligned to sustainability guidelines. Define & execute the packaging development plan. Analyze and validate packaging technical drawings. Define and communicate packaging milestones. Evaluate and communicate risks with associated mitigation/back up plans. Initiate safety assessment processes, through proper communication to the responsible department. Generate packaging documentation for product release for own projects or validate packaging documents for projects managed by direct reports or other team members. Contribute to innovation by developing consumer understanding and identifying new ideas. Initiate and own documentation critical to track and follow changes. Identify and federate the project team. Create packaging component specifications and validate PC specs and finished product specs. Perform due diligence / gap assessments. Flag to the project team when information is ambiguous, vague, complex, or incomplete, and escalate if needed. Lead transversal teams on simplification/innovation projects. Demonstrate ability to influence and think strategically. What we are looking for Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial). Desired Qualifications Experience required: 3 – 5 years in R&D or Engineering Packaging. Strong skills in people and project management. Good relational and organizational skills, proactivity and flexibility in problem solving, and ability to work in a team. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Advanced level in English language.
