Emea Sales Manager
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Seakeeper Ride is entering the EMEA marketplace and in this brand-new role as our EMEA Sales Manager, you will help us introduce it to customers encompassing OEMs, dealers, and two-step distribution channels.
We will look to you to be the expert in managing these go-to-market channels.
You will be responsible for building this market for Seakeeper Ride from the ground up, ensuring we meet or exceed our revenue growth targets.
In the future you will help us to build and mentor a team of sales representatives, maximizing sales potential, crafting sales plans, and communicating with upper management.
In conjunction with our Director of Sales & Support for Seakeeper Ride, you'll be responsible for the following:
- Designing and implementing a strategic business plan and developing a customized go-to-market mass market strategy for EMEA to help launch Seakeeper Ride, ensuring a strong market presence
- Managing key OEM, dealer, and distribution accounts directly
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting OEM, distribution, and dealer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Presenting sales, revenue, expense reports, and realistic forecasts to the senior leadership and staying up to date on market trends
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Establishing and meeting quarterly/yearly growth and targets for the region
- Developing countries where Seakeeper sales and support network growth is needed
- Joining events, sea trials and International Boat Shows within your assigned territory

MUST-HAVES
- Minimum 10+ years of related marine-industry sales experience on an international scale inclusive of at least 5+ years of experience directly managing a team of sales representatives in EMEA
- A demonstrated ability to build a team and mentor, develop, and promote Sales Representatives into future roles
- Proven track record launching a new product or company within a new market
- Demonstrated success managing sales cycles
- Must understand the dynamic between all sales channels and channel management to effectively launch Seakeeper Ride into the marketplace without disrupting channels
- Experience selling a high-volume, technical product through multiple channels including:
- OEMs
- Dealers
- And Two-step distributors
- A valid passport
- Remain flexible with the ability to pivot - this is a new product and a new market for us
- Results-oriented, collaborative, a team player, self-motivated flexible and active, well organized, and able to maintain a positive work attitude
- Be a hands-on salesperson that stays up to date with current developments and future trends within the industry, with the ability to build relationships with customers, both internal and external
- Be of unquestionable integrity and personal ethics
- Be able to work independently, maintain filing systems and basic databases, gather and analyze information skillfully, and have the ability to make sound, timely, and accurate judgments while supporting reasoning for decisions
- Must have a strong command of Microsoft Office products and strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
- Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
NICE-TO-HAVES
- A valid Boating Captain's License
- Be multilingual
MORE DETAILS YOU'LL WANT TO KNOW
- Your territory will include Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
- You can expect to travel up to 80% of the time, with some reoccurring travel to our regional office in Lavagna, Italy, and supporting Seakeeper's shows and events throughout the EMEA territory
- You'll report to the Director of Sales & Support, based in the United States

Our EMEA Sales Manager for Seakeeper Ride is part of a small, passionate group of individuals with widespread skills within our Seakeeper Ride Sales & Support team responsible for supporting new product development and growth.
This is a new position that will ensure we build a strong foundation for the future of Seakeeper Ride in EMEA!
We all wear many hats and work together to accomplish a range of responsibilities.
We're looking for a versatile team player who wants to learn and grow within Seakeeper, finding their own niche to command ownership within the department.
