Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Engineer to join our team in Bologna, Italy.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests, analysing results, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

This position is part of a project to be developed at client's premises.

The objective of this client orientation approach is to offer the best solutions, availability, and closest deal to our clients.

Main tasks will include: Ability to analyze EE architectures from EMC point of view and propose design countermeasures (wire harnesses and components); Ability to analyze test data from testing and propose issue countermeasures; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; Conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to ensure the vehicle's systems meet the required standards; Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and client specifications regarding EMC Regulations such as UN ECE R10, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, etc.

; Qualifications Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field; At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in the automotive field; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments; Comprehensive knowledge of EMC testing methodologies and standards; Knowledge and experience of product development and/or verification is a merit; Knowledge of semi-anechoic chamber working methodologies and equipment is valuable; Well-organized with root cause analysis skills; Excellent customer service skills; Excellent organization and time management skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Italian mother tongue; Good knowledge of the English language; Additional Information Applus IDIADA is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
