About the role The Energy Management Team, located in Bologna, is responsible for developing and implementing a vital roadmap that aligns with the Group's strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Energy Manager, the Energy Management Specialist will assist in executing conservation measures, monitoring energy usage, evaluating business decisions for sustainability, and identifying opportunities to enhance energy performances improvement and leading the energy transition at Group level.
Additionally, he/she will be accountable for:
Development and implementation of energy-saving strategies at a global level, by participating in the definition and drafting of processes, guidelines and operating standards for optimizing energy consumption and proper asset management, also in compliance with the highest standards of the sector (ISO 50001);Project management: evaluating, proposing and planning energy efficiency projects and renewable energy installations, analyzing the interventions from a technical, economic and environmental sustainability point of view.
The resource will also plan and coordinate all technical aspects and operational processes;Carry out energy audits by coordinating external experts and consultants;Participate, in synergy with the other corporate functions (HSE), in the Group's non-financial reporting on energy and emissions, participating in the drafting of reports and questionnaires according to the main international standards (GRI, CDP, SBTi). What you need to be successful Master's degree in Energy/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related;At least 7 years of proven experience in a similar role with strong expertise in energy project management;Excellent knowledge of energy and sustainability standards and regulations;Proficiency in Microsoft Office;Availability to potential business trips (30-40%);Excellent planning and activity organization skills;Problem-solving attitude and strong proactivity;
