We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Energy Manager to join our team. As the Energy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall administration, planning, leadership, and technical direction of energy efficiency projects and programs for all the plant and infrastructures. You will work closely with cross-functional groups, central functions, authorities, and external stakeholders to build constructive and effective relationships, ensuring effective communication of status and reports throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Create and oversee the implementation of a roadmap to increase energy efficiency, reduce energy-related greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize unnecessary utilities consumption in accordance with technology/regulation evolution or recommendations from technical reports, audits, or risk analysis. Develop a roadmap for medium to long-term resource planning. Create, track, and maintain schedules, specifications, investment budgets, utilities operative costs, performance targets, resource plans, and detailed planning and coordination activities for energy efficiency and program deliverables. Collaborate with the engineering, operation, and maintenance teams to ensure successful program execution according to milestones. Assess risks and identify mitigation strategies related to energy consumption and utilities, highlighting issues and planning solutions in the short, medium, and long term. Ensure compliance with energy management system requirements and certifications, monitoring and planning activities to ensure adherence to applicable management system requirements. Conduct audits of various facilities, including higher education, governmental, healthcare, commercial, and industrial facilities, to assess energy efficiency and compliance with local and federal energy laws and regulations. Monitor buildings to identify areas of energy waste and opportunities for improvement, analyzing utility usage to develop conservation projects. Drive continuous improvement by implementing energy efficiency initiatives and promoting awareness among stakeholders through excellent communication, workshops, and training programs. Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Proven experience in energy efficiency project management and program implementation. Strong knowledge of energy management systems, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and control. Knowledge of sustainability principles and practices is a plus.
