For maternity leave replacement, we are looking for an Energy Manager, who will collaborate with the SHEQ Team by providing support on Energy, Environmental, Quality, Health and Safety issues.
The resource will be responsible for defining and implementing energy policies, promoting a culture focused on efficiency and optimization of energy resources.
**What will you deal with in this role?
- Lead the identification, creation, and development of projects to secure new competitive and renewable energy sources;
- Managing and implementing the network to identify the best sources of energy supply, optimizing their costs;
- Develop business plans aimed at the possible acquisition/modernization of existing facilities with a view to energy efficiency, in cooperation with the Corporate Maintenance Entity;
- Collaborate with internal functions including engineering and finance to analyze energy data and implement supply solutions;
- Summarize energy consumption and prepare monthly data summary for submission to Management;
- Carry out appropriate consistency checks between internally recorded consumption and what is billed by service providers and network operators, including costs;
- Analyze consumption profiles to identify possible waste and areas of efficiency improvement;
- Compile Enea file regarding annual improvements;
- Verify legislative compliance in the areas of Environment and Health and Safety and oversee activities to maintain legislative requirements in the area of energy (ISO 50001:2018);
- Implement Management Systems in the areas of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and Energy in accordance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001);
- Participate in internal and external audits and see to the implementation of resulting corrective actions;
- Stay informed of technical, market and regulatory developments in the renewable energy sector and communicate key trends, risks and potential impacts to management;
- Complete waste loading and unloading records, forms and keep track of legislative deadlines;
- Verify permits of waste transporters and disposers;
- Manage waste homologation practices and the preparation of any new data sheets for the definition of European Waste Codes (EWC);
- Verify compliance with waste storage regulations in in-house storage areas;
- Compile Waste from Electrical and Electronical Equipment (WEEE) input declarations;
- Compile the Unique Environmental Declaration Form (MUD);
- Periodically verify atmospheric emissions through sampling and keep maintenance records up-to-date;
- Request documents for fluorinated gases (F-gas) complaints and boiler inspections;
- Enter environmental nonconformities into the Group computer register;
- Compile files for the Energy Management System (EMS);
- Draft and update procedures and operating instructions for Energy and Environment;
- Provide initial energy and environment training for newly hired staff;
- Prepare informational materials and conduct informational interventions for periodic in-house staff training on energy and environment issues;
- Collaborate in carrying out health and safety activities, analyzing risk factors in the production area, evaluating related safety measures;
- Collaborate in updating Risk Assessments and monitoring the evolution of safety and environmental regulations;
- Collaborate in the monthly preparation of health and safety reports;
- Support in the organization of medical examinations;
- Collaborate in organizing and reporting on safety training activities.
**What we expect from you?
Engineering educational background, environmental or energy related, is preferred;
You will use your interpersonal skills to build strong professional relationship with the colleague you will need to work with;
A previous experience in Health and Safety topics will be an plus.
**Where will you be located?
You will be located in Robassomero, Turin Area, Italy, at Abac Aria Compressa Product Company, part of Professional Air Division.
