Sofidel's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets to 2030 have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as consistent with reductions required to keep warming to well-below 2C, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. PURPOSESupport the Line Manager in the procurement of energy sources to the US sites and promote the reduction of energy consumption and costs. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Line Manager in the definition of energy supply contracts and in the procurement of energy sources for the US sites, optimizing supply costs and quality in line with the Group strategy and standard;Analyze the US energy markets, monitoring and assessing factors and drivers that influence the purchasing process either directly or indirectly;Support the US sites in the monitoring and achievement of opportunities for economic allowances and benefits in the energy sector for US sites;Support the US sites in being compliant with local regulatory obligations and laws concerning energy; Define periodical reports for energy costs and consumptions, providing monthly forecasts for the US sites of the Group;Support the Line Manager in the definition of opportunities of investments in energy efficiency and decarbonization for all sites, in line with the Group's sustainability goals, monitoring and reporting the energy savings achieved;Provide technical support and training about the EMS software for the US sites;Develop and maintain new reports into EMS for energy monitoring;Carry out training activities on energy issues to internal and external resources;Collaborate with the Line Manager in the implementation and management of ISO 50001 certification for the US sites.
