MissionThis role focuses on the project & proposal management of international R&D projects, centered on sustainability, decarbonization of the built environment, smart energy management, and climate change adaptation at rural and urban levels. Key AccountabilitiesManage EU R&D projects in sustainability, decarbonization, and climate adaptation of the built environment. Develop and manage EU R&D proposals in related fields. Develop and manage the network of international partners for EU projects. Scout funded and tendered opportunities in energy efficiency. Contribute to RINA's technical development in EU-funded projects, interacting with international partners. Deliver reports and results on research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, decarbonization, and climate adaptation. Create new opportunities and prepare proposals in European and international R&D programmes. Grow RINA's network of R&D partners in energy transition and climate mitigation. EducationMaster's Degree or Doctorate/PHD in Civil Engineering or Architecture. QualificationsDegree in Energy/Building Engineering or Architecture, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. PhD in a relevant field is a strong plus. At least 3 years of related work experience (including PhD). Fluency in English and Italian. Excellent reporting skills, both verbal and written. Capacity to conduct research, organize work, and produce results. Excellent teamwork attitude. Open-minded to innovation and networking.
