Operations division's task is to execute Finnair's flight operations safely, economically and in a reliable manner. Flight operations entail the pilot resources, flight planning, flight competence optimization, coordination of and compliance to regulations as well as operational maintenance and ground operations. Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. We are now looking for a ENGINEER FOR CABIN & PAYLOAD ENGINEERING TEAM to maintain and develop Finnair aircraft cabins and to optimize maintenance costs. You will be responsible for engineering of specific aircraft cabin areas and acting as the lead on discussions with vendors.

The duties will include designing modifications for aircraft cabins as part of Finnair's Design Organization, carrying technical responsibility for interior items, monitoring manufacturer/community information and Finnair fleet metrics, and maintaining close co-operation with OEMs, vendors and other stakeholders, to coordinate In-Service Issues and product development.

Main responsibilities: Managing and taking full ownership of the assigned aircraft cabin areaMod status (SB + DOA), ISI's, defect trends, maintenance support, possible projectsCommunication and development with vendorsSupporting our Line Maintenance organization together with MCCManaging and developing maintenance and engineering processesManaging and preparing aircraft cabin modifications under Finnair Design Organization and with 3rd party Design OrganizationsYou can be an experienced engineer or just starting your career; motivation and the right attitude are what we are looking for. We expect you to have: Applicable technical education at B. Sc. or M. Sc. levelEngineering mindset and evaluation skills to facilitate rational engineering decisionsDrive to take responsibility, make decisions and be proactiveFluency in English, both written and spoken.
