- A0/A1**Job Purpose**:

- To lead and co-ordinate all discipline personnel assigned to the assigned task.

- To ensure the satisfactory performance of the discipline on the assigned task implementing any necessary action to maintain the standard of work and performance.

- Be responsible for the content and quality of all work the discipline undertakes on the task.

- To provide concept development and technical services

- To define solutions that are unbiased, efficient, constructible.

- To be part of a great network of Genesis experts.

Hierarchically reports to:

- Genesis Rome Manager

- Genesis Rome O&G Manager

- Genesis Rome Energy Transition Manager

Directly supervises:

- Engineers

**Key Interactions (internally, externally)**:

Company

- Country Manager, Skills Group Leader; Project Managers; Discipline Leads; other discipline Engineers

External

- Subcontractors / Suppliers, Clients

**Typical background and experience required**:

**Must have**:

- Bsc-/Msc degree in Chemical Engineering

- Minimum 10 years' experience, mostly in the upstream oil & gas business.

- Knowledge in studies for Revamps and Complex upgrading

- Knowledge on Conceptual and Basic Design on multiple technological fields

Nice to have:

- Basic understanding of Economic and Financial Analysis.

- Experience Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Detailed engineering, Site experience, start-up, test-run and operation supervision

- Knowledge of Linear Programming (Aspen PIMS)

- Knowledge of PRO II/HYSYS process simulators

- Knowledge of Basic Design Preparation for Licensors

**Main Accountabilities**:

Perform design calculations and assist in the performance of engineering and field development studies.

This entails

- Evaluation of alternative field development options;

- Running of proprietary software (e. g.

Hysys.

Process, Pipesim) or in-house developed software;

- Performing engineering calculations (e. g.

equipment & line sizing);

- Conducting engineering studies into alternative gas and oil processing technologies;

- Production of technical notes for reporting of study results;

- Support preparation of Feasibility Study Proposal

- Managing market Study Consulting Companies

- Develop the final outcomes to Clients (reports, outlines written and oral presentations to Clients)

Additionally, responsibilities may include:

- Leading and coordinating discipline personnel assigned to a project.

- Ensuring that the project scope of work, design basis, philosophies, standards and procedures including QA are known, understood and implemented by the discipline personnel assigned to the project.

- Direction and monitoring the execution of work with regard to content and quality of all documentation within the disciplines scope of work.

- Support in preparation of proposals / BD.

- Be willing to take the next step up and lead consulting studies

- Evaluate bids.

Safety Responsibilities:

- May participate in aspects of Project Safety issues when required;

- In Country & Project specific (Offshore &/or Overseas); otherwise Genesis Standard Office Procedures.

- Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.

- Full command of English language written and spoken;

- Experience with Hysys Process;
