Engineering Design Technician
SUMMARY
HR Consulting Solutions LLC is an international executive search firm retained by a fast-growing, highly respected engineering firm located in the Carolinas to recruit an Engineering Design Technician.
The Engineering Design Technician will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of construction drawings, graphic materials, GIS data compilation, and production of reports and proposals.
The successful candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and demonstrate proficiency in related software applications.

Our client is licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.
The firm provides a wide array of civil engineering and environmental engineering services with offices located in Columbia, SC, Charleston, SC, Greenville, SC, Bluffton, SC, and Charlotte, NC.

Candidates who are hired will have the opportunity to select which of our office locations they prefer to work from.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize AutoCAD software for drafting and design tasks.
Assist in the production of construction drawings and project-related graphics.
Compile and manage GIS data to support project development.
Contribute to the preparation of reports and proposals for client presentations.
Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to ensure project success.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
Knowledge of Corel Draw, Arcview, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred.
Experience with Civil 3D and Land Development software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project deadlines.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
