The Engineering Services Intern provides electrical engineering design and support throughout the company in the areas of power, controls, and instrumentation.

Compensation $22. 00-$26. 00/hr DOE

Responsibilities Design and implement electrical systems for plant additions and modifications at the manufacturing plants Maintain the database of power systems studies Create and modify drawings as needed for projects, plant improvements or in response to plant requests Participate in cement plant outages Assist and provide support on capital movement projects Support control system applications Provide field inspections, coordination, and supervision for electrical work on projects with guidance from senior department personnel Work with the energy team to identify improvements and participate in energy audits Support plants by diagnosing and correcting electrical problems Attend summer intern orientation event at corporate headquarters in Glendora, CA Education Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Requirements/Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i. e. , Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Good attendance and punctuality Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to work independently and in a team setting Must possess valid driver's license, insurance, and be insurable to drive company vehicles Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
