The Engineering Team is looking for an Engineering Manager in Monza site (Regular contract)

- Management Level: Manager_

- Reporting to E&S Site manager_

What about the job

In your role the Engineering Manager will:

- Select, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of professional Engineers and technical support staff to ensure that Industrial engineering operations are completed on-time and within budget

- Ensure consistent improvement of processes and implementation of tools that enables quality in the processes and deliveries

- Ensure that business strategies and goals are met

- Utilize technical expertise to coach engineers and support with problem solving

- Be technical responsible of the special modules and of the customization (approval of drawings) of standard modules

Key tasks:

- Develop technical solutions (typically customization of a standard solution) able to meet customer demands at lowest possible cost

- Investigate and/or support (project managers and engineers) the solution of complex claims

- Follow up on operational business aspects including topics as time schedules, finance and project quality for the local engineering department

- Resource management including distributing project work and other tasks to employees and follow up direct line reporting.

What you know

- Engineering degree (Chemical Engineering degree will be a plus)

- At least 5-7 years' experience as in the role

- Financial, commercial and legal insight and schooling will be a plus

- Experience in the Marine, Engine Power, Power or Oil&Gas industries will be an asset

- Very Good spoken and written English.
