End of 2024, Novo Nordisk acquired the manufacturing site Catalent Anagni S. r. l. with the ambition to expand our capacity to meet the needs of millions of patients. You will be part of a global team that will develop the pharma facilities of the future and work with advanced technology to rethink our fill & finish facilities.
The Position The Engineering Manager (EM) is overall responsible for defining and driving the project specific technical execution objectives and necessary methods and for directing a compliant technical execution of the assigned project design (for the managed matters) and for support engineering suppliers in achieving the overall project requirements. The assigned project could be related to an AP Module (An AP Module is a complete Fill & Finish department with Washing, Sterilization, Formulation, Filling & Inspection), an FP Module (FP Module is a Department for Cartridges Assembling & Cartridges, PFS & Vials Packaging), a CUB module (CUBs: one for Black Utilities Generation and Distribution and one for Clean Utilities Generation, Storage and Distribution) or an IL/WH Module (The IL/WH project includes a Multi-Temperature Storage Warehouse, an Eco-Dock Bay and a Connecting Spine).
Among your main responsibilities will be:
Actively participate in the creation and development the project execution plan and standards for the project to ensure efficient execution. Manage the technical execution of the project, and support sourcing of engineering suppliers. Implement engineering systems into the project, enabling Novo Nordisk to efficiently execute the project, professionally interact with engineering partners and manage contractors and suppliers. Drive execution compliance and best practices across all disciplines of the project. Develop and drive the corporate frame for technical project execution (e. g. Good Engineering Practice) to optimise the delivery of the facility of the future. Qualifications B. Sc. or M. Sc. in Engineering or similar with at least 5-10 years' experience as Project Manager or Engineering Manager within global GxP investment projects within an international environment. Project Management training/certification, example IPMA Level A or Program Management Professional (PMI) is considered a plus. Experience from specific engineering management positions within project coordination, and managing multi-disciplinary project groups. Excellent knowledge of the documentation flow during qualification of equipment, facility and utilities. Experience from operating in a GMP-regulated environment, and from qualification and validation of equipment/processes. Experience with working closely with multiple engineering suppliers and experts from a wide range of areas such as: specialists, scientists, technicians, technical coordinators, line management and external contractors. High level of English skills and experienced presenter. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Management skills. Adaptability and Leadership skills. Organizational Skills and Innovation.
