LocalStack is headquartered in Zurich/Switzerland, with a main engineering office in Vienna/Austria and remote team members from the US, FR, UK, CA, ES, and many more countries. This is the right opportunity for a person with 2-4 years in an Engineering Manager role, developer background, experience in chaotic fast-paced environments, experience managing a team of 8-10 engineers as well as strong ability to lead architectural and system design decisions. RequirementsWhat you will be working on/responsible for:Facilitate the roadmap for your team, prioritise what team works on, ensure on-time delivery and great quality of code. Champion good engineering practices in your team. Grow and coach members of your team, ensuring they progress well and shine in their roles. As we scale, together with other EMs and Engineering leaders, suggest improvements to overall technical structure, and processes. Ensure strong alignment between team members, making sure there is sufficient time to work on priorities. Ensure collaborative and understanding culture within the team as we work in the remote first context. Experience we expect you to bring to the role:Not afraid to be hands-on in technical architecture and design decisions and jump into solving issues with the team. Developer background.
(Preferred) Python, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP. Experience in a dynamic, developing and chaotic environment (comfortable with ambiguity and agile environment).
